Epic! So good。 Fantastic conclusion to this trilogy。 I'm glad that the struggles are finally over for them and that they can focus on growth and happiness。 Epic! Great endingI’m sad the series is done。 There was so much emotion in this series and Albany did a great job in creating a story that captures love on all scopes。 I loved Bates mom and her undying love for him and his relationship。 The juxtaposition to Way’s family really made the severity of her home life stick out。

Im really disappointed。 I finished this with so many questions and so confused。 It didn't give us any answers to how she is hearing their thoughts, or how they are dealing with it, or who the scary voices were。 It was all moving so slowly and then suddenly it ended and I just felt like a lot was missing and like I don't really know where they will go from here。。。 Im really disappointed。 I finished this with so many questions and so confused。 It didn't give us any answers to how she is hearing their thoughts, or how they are dealing with it, or who the scary voices were。 It was all moving so slowly and then suddenly it ended and I just felt like a lot was missing and like I don't really know where they will go from here。。。 。。。more

First and foremost! This is the FINAL book in the trilogy and the books do end on cliffhangers。 If you have not read "Seeing Sound" and "Touching Oblivion" go read those two first! This book is the conclusion to the trilogy and this review will contain spoilers for the series if you haven't read them in order。*******"Maybe normal is overrated。" - WaylynnWaylynn was just opening up and feeling comfortable and confident with her guys。 Figuring out the dynamics of each of them and how they all fit together。 Building up her courage to tell them the truth about the voices when everything comes crashing down around her。 Her mother made an unexpected appearance and completely outed her! Will the guys look at her the same or leave her picking up the pieces? The guys see right through Waylynn's mom and how she's being manipulative but now they need to prove to Waylynn that they will not leave her。 They are thoroughly tested with this last trail and failure's NOT an option。 Tensions are high, relationships are strained, and meeting the parents is molar grindingly frustrating。 Will the group survive the challenges that life is throwing at them to ensure they are certain about this commitment?"She needs all of us。 We just have to keep my idiot brother from getting us into trouble。" - OzOh, with this installment I fell even harder for Bates and Oz, especially Bates。 There was no way in Hell that Bates was just going to stand by and allow Waylynn's mom to bulldoze her。 In this book Bates really proved himself and what he had to offer for the group。 I was cheering so many times and grinning like an idiot reading through his dialogue!Oz is just my chaos fiend, and we would get along so well。 Probably drive Memphis even more up the wall and insist the two of us stay apart。 He's the comic relief in the group and helps to keep things light and playful, but surprises everyone when he actually has deep wisdom to gift。 I did like to see his younger side with a certain situation in the book that led to him making not the best "mature" decisions。 But honestly, I would have done the same。Memphis's character was one that grew on me throughout the series。 He's complex and there were several times I was shaking my head at him, Oz and Bates having to confront him on multiple occasions to pull his head out of his rear。 There are reasons behind his actions, and I enjoyed getting to understand more of his backstory。Waylynn's coming out of her shell more and more。 Understanding who she is and what she wants out of her life! I loved watching her self-confidence grow and her becoming more independent。 Detaching from the world her parents tried sucking her into! I was saying from book one that she's definitely an empath and sorry if this is a spoiler but the events in this read really solidified that theory。 Our baby grows up in this book and I was so proud of her! This installment had my blood boiling on several occasions。 I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate when an author has me feeling such strong emotions with their works! There were serval situations in this book that had me ready to go to war and protect。 I was writing "WTF" so many times in my notes for this read especially with a series of chapters because of everything that was happening。 Manipulation is a big thing that's showcased in this read and how it affects everyone involved。I did want to rate this book higher because I absolutely love Ms Walker and her writing style so much! My personal and honest opinion is that I felt there wasn't enough closure to some situations within this read。 Things are tied up and you can use your imagination to fill in the finer details, but I felt like there should have been just a little more。 This book does contain language, some violence and mention of blood, blatant manipulation, and anxiety。 Some more details into a past MC's life and how someone else's drug addiction affected them。 Confrontations that needed to happen and will leave you cheering for the MC。 There is a side character who doesn't want to take no for an answer, but nothing happens! Loved having the continuation of multiple POVs!We have a why choose romance with brothers and their best friend! MFMM action is in the book along with MF action, sorry there's no sword crossing in this read。 Each of the guys' present different dynamics and power plays。 Voyeurism is present and the group approves of it even encouraging them to act accordingly to accommodate the voyeur。 We get praise and I love that there was comfort in this read as well。 "Good girl", "Yes, sir", and "Eyes on me" are just a few lines used。 The guys are also very much touch her and you die vibes。 I'm sad to see the cast go but excited to read what other books Ms Walker is going to come up with! Enjoy the ending to the trilogy with romance, tests, make it or break it points, and so much more! Don't forget to give the author some stars!shutupandbookup。blogspot。com 。。。more

*2。5* I have really enjoyed other stories by this author so this was a bummer。 I inhaled the first two, not because they were necessarily great reads, but because they were like holding a dramatic little soap opera in my hands, and I was drawn in like a moth to flame。I had high expectations for this one。 Book one introduced us to the characters and the pnr aspect that I couldn’t WAIT to hear more about。 Book two slowly brought in the RH aspect。 Book three had more sex, but I wanted to know more *2。5* I have really enjoyed other stories by this author so this was a bummer。 I inhaled the first two, not because they were necessarily great reads, but because they were like holding a dramatic little soap opera in my hands, and I was drawn in like a moth to flame。I had high expectations for this one。 Book one introduced us to the characters and the pnr aspect that I couldn’t WAIT to hear more about。 Book two slowly brought in the RH aspect。 Book three had more sex, but I wanted to know more about the voices!!! What happened to the paranormal in this story? Also, where was the foursome my lusty little heart had been waiting three books for?? This story read like a YA with some sex。 Bland-white-bread-no-flavor fmc made me want to dnf this one。 I still don’t know what she looks like。。。 Overall, this book made for great material to laugh and complain about with my BR Isabella! 。。。more

Too many unanswered questions I love Albany Walker's books, but this felt incomplete。 I loved the relationship and the care in the harem。 I especially loved Memphis and his possessive dominance and how it centers waylynn。 I also liked the storyline with the parental drama。 But, what happened with Oswald, the girl drama and KJ? Did they have an end game? Does Bates play his music anywhere but is just an electrician? Why dies Waylynn here their voices and why did it Starr? I anticipated waiting for this book for months and I only liked it did not have enough ménage (I know it is not a ménage book, but one could dream, dammit) for me。 I wish there was more group sex, not singular with Waylynn。 The interference of Waylynn's mother was typical parenting, I understand her mother's issues, but sometimes you have to cut the silver cord when it comes to your children。 I anticipated waiting for this book for months and I only liked it did not have enough ménage (I know it is not a ménage book, but one could dream, dammit) for me。 I wish there was more group sex, not singular with Waylynn。 The interference of Waylynn's mother was typical parenting, I understand her mother's issues, but sometimes you have to cut the silver cord when it comes to your children。 。。。more

angst and details It was a story。 I enjoyed the characters。 It just didn’t have that spark for me。 I was entertained enough to read all three books。

😻I cried quite a bit with this one。 Her dad seems alright。 Just wish he hadn’t gone along with her crazy mom。 Those three are perfect together。 I still would of loved to of seen that chick and Oz’s roommate pay though!

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I’m still giving 5⭐️ bc I loved the characters so much。 The story line building up to book 3 was incredible, but this book leaves you with nothing。 No answers, conclusions anything??? Who was the “mean man”? Is Waylynn actually psychic??? WtfWith that being said - the characters themselves are lovely and I do feel like we see Waylynn grow into herself so much from book one to three。

great story line It’s a great story line。 I’ve read a few of her books, one other series and a standalone。 I’m always disappointed with her endings so I don’t usually read her books。 I noticed it was a reoccurring thing for me when I read her books。 So I just didn’t。 But this series caught me and I was hoping for a better outcome but didn’t get it again。

Spoilers:Rh (No Mm) with OWD (no cheating)Light bdsm, voyeurism, and inexperienced heroine。This plot was simultaneously intriguing and low key。 Huge emphasis on mental health and a ambiguous mystery when in comes to the voices she hears。 We never really get answers and yet it doesn’t feel incomplete。 I would have liked more interaction between characters that was light hearted because this does come off very somber, but if you enjoy a more dramatic, mysterious vibe, this is right for you。 I real Spoilers:Rh (No Mm) with OWD (no cheating)Light bdsm, voyeurism, and inexperienced heroine。This plot was simultaneously intriguing and low key。 Huge emphasis on mental health and a ambiguous mystery when in comes to the voices she hears。 We never really get answers and yet it doesn’t feel incomplete。 I would have liked more interaction between characters that was light hearted because this does come off very somber, but if you enjoy a more dramatic, mysterious vibe, this is right for you。 I really don’t have anything bad to say about this series。 。。。more

BrilliantExcellent conclusion to the Tasting Madness series。 Family drama and ‘helicopter’ parents, navigating new relationships and dealing with unwanted situations。 Slightly alternative HEA suits the quirkiness of this trilogy。 Highly recommend this series。 Solid 5 stars。

betrayalThe finial book in Tasting madness series。 Waylynn and her guys have had so much to work through to find happiness。 To be betrayed by your mother would be very devastating。While I really like the entire series and this book was really good I felt it ended abruptly。 I also felt that Bates did not have enough time。

Kinda sad These book had some much potential and I really hope there’s a forth one because I feel like it was very rushed at the end, and we never find out about the fourth voice that she hears that she thinks is mean I don’t know it just didn’t seem fulfilling like something was missing something important to the book。 I love these books so much。 I reread them every time a new one came out to make sure I didn’t miss anything but I’m just some thing is missing!

I loved the first two books in this series, but I have to admit I was disappointed by this one。 There were SO MANY threads that were just picked up and then never resolved。 As other reviewers said, Bates still felt very third-wheel, although I could see that it was starting to change。 But because it ended so abruptly, I don't feel like their relationship together was really fleshed out enough。 This would have been fine as a third book, if another one was to be released to finish out their story。 I loved the first two books in this series, but I have to admit I was disappointed by this one。 There were SO MANY threads that were just picked up and then never resolved。 As other reviewers said, Bates still felt very third-wheel, although I could see that it was starting to change。 But because it ended so abruptly, I don't feel like their relationship together was really fleshed out enough。 This would have been fine as a third book, if another one was to be released to finish out their story。Threads picked up and then never actually resolved:(view spoiler)[+ The FOURTH voice that Waylynn hears, the "mean man。" Where did that come from?? Was that previously referenced? I can certainly say it was never followed up on, and that seems really important。 Part of the instant connection between Waylynn and the guys is that she heard their voices, so where did this other guy come from?+ Her mom felt way too cartoon villain-y。 I get that maybe Waylynn might have a skewed idea about her parents because she's felt like she's too much trouble。 But right up until the last chapter of Touching Oblivion, it seemed (and she said) she had a good relationship with her parents。 And there was even room for growth with Waylynn *and* her mom about her mom being overprotective and learning to let Waylynn fly on her own。 The fact that her mom calls the police and has Waylynn involuntarily committed for observation because she had a boy in her bedroom is a bridge of belief too far。+ Easton was also cartoony villain-y。 He has the lines and presence of a stump from the time he was introduced for the Thanksgiving drama, and then he busts out as a rapist/creeper in his one scene。 He had absolutely zero purpose or presence except to light the match for drama。+ I just don't generally like when books get too specific about things in the real world。 It kinda gave me the ick that it was specifically spelled out that Waylynn's the W*mart heiress。 It would have been fine if it was more generic, IMO。 There's really a W*mart heiress IRL, and it's not Waylynn。+ Alexis? The OW drama? Where was that going? Nowhere, that's where。 It's resolved by "oh well, guess she's gone" and the phone that she stole from Oz (which came to absolutely nothing) was just in passing said it was turned in at the front desk of the hotel。+ Maybe once or twice do the guys actually ask or talk about the fact that Waylynn HEARS THEIR VOICES INSIDE HER HEAD。 They even verify it in one scene。 But NO ONE is acutely curious about this。 How??+ This is seriously such a small thing, but I didn't like it that when they were waiting to find out more info about where Waylynn was being held, that Oz went and played the football game。 Even though he was reluctant and the guys told him there was nothing to do but wait。 Call me petty, but it really didn't ring true for me and I didn't like it。 :((hide spoiler)]I really think if there was a fourth book that there's room to fully flesh and finish out the story。 It felt very incomplete, and introduced new plots/ideas that were never resolved, in addition to the outstanding ones that we were waiting on resolution for。On a positive note, I really liked Bates' parents。 I thought they were a great addition to the story。 。。。more
